Better Business Bureau Foundation’s Students of Integrity Scholarship

This scholarship offers one $10,000 award to an accomplished high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicants must be exemplary students with tangible academic accomplishments and proven leadership at school and in their community and exhibit a developed sense of personal ethics. Qualifiers must submit an online application that includes a creative and informative 90 second video depicting how the Better Business Bureau assists individuals to become more informed consumers. Church’s Chicken Community Scholarship Program

This Church program was established by The Church’s Partners Foundation Inc., extends one $1,000 award to students who are enrolled either part-time or full-time in a college or vocational program at an accredited institution of their choice. To be eligible, applicants must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher and be a resident of Alabama. The scholarship deadline is February 15, 2017.

The Pride Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship from the Pride Foundation allows students to qualify for 50 different scholarships with a total value of $10,000 by submitting one application. The Program is intended for LGBT students and their families and also for straight people who support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer issues. Applicants must be high school seniors or currently enrolled in a two or four-year accredited institution of higher education and intend on continued enrollment. Scholars must evidence a commitment to social equality and submit an 500 word essay in addition to completing the online application. The deadline for scholarship is January 11, 2017. Student Opportunity Scholarship

The Student Opportunity Scholarship is a $2,000 need-based award offered by the Presbyterian Church for 80 Presbyterian undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a minimum GPA of 2.5, who are full-time attendees of an accredited American institution of higher education and pursing their first degree. Applicants are required to submit a series of essays demonstrating a mentored self-exploration about what God’s plans are for them. Successful scholars are required a continued spiritual involvement in the religious community or with the on-campus ministry. The scholarship deadline is May 17, 2017.

PMI Alaska Chapter Scholarship

A $2,500 funding opportunity, this scholarship is open to one undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student pursuing a major in project management. Eligible students must be currently enrolled or seeking enrollment in an accredited college or university. Applicants who are residents of Alaska and a member of the Alaska Chapter of PMI will have first priority in consideration; however, non-members will still receive secondary consideration.
